Jo Ann, Thank you for the comment. I checked out your gallery and I must say you've got some great work. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Love the abstract stuff. I was once a very enthusiastic BP member...winning several Finalist and Second Place awards. I won a free membership with one of my photo's and when the year was up, for whatever reason, I never renewed my membership. I'm testing the waters again and after this round I may re-up. Don't get me wrong here though. Betterphoto is a cherished site for me and I truly value the work presented here and the insite of the expert judging that takes place. It is this website, Betterphoto and it's founder Jim Miotke, that inspired me to attend The Art Institute of Seattle and get a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree In Photography. I'll never forget when a good friend of mine and enthusiast photographer bought his book and emailed him asking for a signed copy. Jim happily obliged and sent him a signed copy with a personal note. That's cool!...and a perfect example of the "down to earth" type of guy he is and and people he surrounds himself with. OK...now I've decided...after all this writing...I'm going to renew my membership!
