Wire Pass Logjam

Uploaded: August 04, 2013

Description

At several points on the hike through Wire Pass, you're reminded just how much debris runs through the slot canyon in a flood;
and clearly how bad it would be for you, if you were caught in the canyon during a flash flood, as part of that torrent of debris!
Where the slot canyon narrows, bottlenecks form with debris lodged in place. (Some hikers have survived floods by clinging
to tree trunks which sometimes get lodged 20 feet off the canyon floor.)
