Wonderful details, Susan. I noticed you have a new camera? Great work. #10794574Susan Williams August 03, 2013
Wow! Thanks, everybody, for your enthusiastic support!Howard, it's my camera mounted on my son's telescope (I'm no expert there); f/10 1/125 ISO 400. I'm still fascinated with the Moon (Saturn next) while he is trying to get star fields and galaxies. We're too close to city lights to get too ambitious but field trips to find dark skies are in the planning. #10794585

This is the best capture I have seen of of a waning moon. I love the fact that you mounted your camera on a telescope to achieve such wonderful clarity. I would have hoped that it would have gone higher!!! #10842328Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
