Philadelphia Deluge

Two days ago, Philadelphia was drowned in 8 inches of rain in a very short period.
---
We had been shooting an antique car show/street festival in South Philly, and it had been a GREAT day...cool, comfortable, and fun. And then, after beginning as a soft, cool drizzle, the DRENCHING rain began to come down like a PLAGUE!
----
Luckily, no wind to speak of, so all the people who had brought umbrellas stayed fairly dry. NOT US!
---
OY....were we WET!!
----
This was Broad Street on our way north, with City Hall directly ahead. The rain had begun to let up, but it was still coming down CATS and DOGS. It was about 4 pm.
---
Congratulations to all the June Finalists. Have not yet had a chance to review them.

I recognize this street. I was there years ago. I worry for you when I hear "rain" now. I worry for my city too. June 21st here wont soon be forgotten. 100,000 evacuated.I really like the red in the tail lights and intersection lights. It really adds to the feel of the weather with their reflections!
DON'T CATCH A COLD!!! :)
