Make a Shot Happen

Uploaded: October 31, 2005 19:07:28

Description

17-40mm @ 17mm, (cropped in PS), 1 sec., f5.6. ISO200
This kid was kind enough to stay still for me (even though he didn't know I was shooting a photo). At 1 sec, I was suprised at how much people disappeared as they moved through the frame. I was using a impromtu tripod with some stuff out of my trunk to steady the camera.

Used Nik Midnight filter on the pumpkins but not on the boy for a more "glowing" effect.

WOW! This is such a great shot, Chuck! Fantastic subject, nice effects, and the crop is perfect. The kid's costume is a slam-dunk too :-) #339068

Excellent, excellent shot, Chuck! Fantastic capture of the "glowing" pumpkins faces & you're correct, the child is an added plus here!
