Description

Durnstein, Austria: The Monastic Parish Church was built between 1721 and 1725 in the Gothic style and later the Classic Blue Baroque tower was added. It points to the ruins of the famous Kunringerburg Castle where Richard the Lion-Hearted was imprisoned in 1192 to 1193. It is on one of the bends of the Danube river in the Wachau wine district of Austria.

Love the story that goes along with this beautiful place Emile. The design is so awesome and the colors and shapes are gorgeous. Love the way you composed and presented the picture allowing a lead up to the castle and then that brilliant sky to top it off.
