Hi Lisa. Very dramatic coloring here, and the bright white of the sun is just right.

Two small suggestions. Apply some noise reduction and consider a small crop using the 3x5 horizontal format starting at the top. This will reduce the dark foreground by about 1/3 giving a more pleasing balance to the image. #1536691

I kinda like the details in the dark foreground. Is there any way to bring them out? These colors are fantastic! #10771849

This is interesting, Lisa. Usually I like a sunset with clouds or a strong foreground. I do think this works well. I agree with Dale's crop suggestion. #10772221

Really like this Lisa. I'll have to wait to see the crop suggestion. I think theforeground detail adds a lot to the picture in both content and and additional compositional layer to increase depth in the plain. #10772568

hi, thanks everyone. Is this what you were thinking with the crop, Dale? #10772586

this is a great shot Lisa, it gives you the feeling of being very hot. I think the noise reduction helped it alot. but I personally like the original crop best. #10772907

Yes it is Lisa, but I'm having second thoughts because of how it changes the area where that bright area (stream?) is located, which now dominates the foreground.

Thanks for trying it though. #10772939

Gorgeous colors, what a Beautiful sunset!! I like the original crop the best. Where did you take this? #10773444

I agree, it was better before. #10773454

ditto for crop and noise reduction.

I see quite a bit of saturation shift, too. Did you also try to address Elaine's question? I think I like the more vibrant colors #10774202

I'm with the others on the original crop. Very creative, unique and artistic, Lisa. #10775855
