Nestled into the summer hills of New Mexico

Description

I've shot this little house hundreds of times & was never satisfied with the results. This time I made my usual stop to take some close ups, & once again I was disappointed, so I drove on.
Luckily I glanced over my shoulder then quickly pulled over to the side of the road. The combination of colors from a brief summer shower, the curve of the road, & the lines of hills behind it gave me the most complete picture that I'd seen yet of this quaint little house.
I guess it just needed a little space to reveal all of it's elusive beauty.

I simplified the picture slightly using Topaz Labs.
