Super Moon June 21st 2013
Uploaded: June 22, 2013
My first attempt at shooting a super (very bright) moon. I used a tripod, remote controller, Canon EOS 1D mark IV, EF70-200 L, IS lens with a 1.4X and 2.0 X teleextender for a little more than 560 mm focal length. I used a Singh-Ray Vari ND filter as well and converted in Nik Silver Efex 2 for final presentation. I will try again tonight hopefully.
Exif: F Number: 4, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/8000 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 12800, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 280.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS-1D Mark IV

Great shot. I think everyone will be trying tonight. #10742140Stan Kwasniowski June 22, 2013
Emile, awesome, I am going to try tomorrow, but we have had floods and rains for the last wk. Downtown is shut down, water all over the place, high rises office buildings, electricty off, generators that operate elevators under water. We are lucky where we live not by any river, so no problems, maybe a water problem shortly #10742271Emile Abbott June 23, 2013
