I'm not sure how I feel about this one, Lisa. I like the tones and the reflection, but the dark shadow is distracting and I'm not sure that there's a strong subject. #1531418

wow it almost looks like an arm coming out of the dark to snatch those ducks up...
I think the tone are wonderful,and the reflection is nice. I believe the problem is the ducks are to out of focus. so that takes away some of the subject we are viewing. #10724823

Lisa, I like the reflection and tone as well, but I struggle to see the swans. I think a smaller aperture would have given you a better depth of field with much more in focus. #10725569

I like the textures and tones Lisa, but I think the issue with the swans is they are too small to add interest and only serve as a distraction. I don't think a smaller aperture would help as Kelena suggested because judging by the distance you are from the wall and swans you likely had a very wide, if not infinite, DOF regardless of the aperture.

I find the left side of the image to be more visually interesting than the right and would try a vertical 5x7 or 4x5 starting at the left edge and utilizing the full height. #10727172

I think the constructive comments have already been made. I tend to agree with Ton that the more interesting elements of the composition are in the left third or so of the image. #10730190

Lisa, I love the light in the rocks and the warm tones but agree with a lack of a true subject. The ducks are a bit problematic here because of the soft focus and I agree that the strongest side is the rocks to the left. This is someplace we want to see someday if the political situation ever calms down. #10744244
