Mother Swan and Babies
Uploaded: May 31, 2013
This beautiful Mother Swan and babies were out for a swim. Taken at Lake Morton. Lakeland FL. The light ones were two days old. The dark one was one day old. A lady that was there had told me she checked on them everyday. They keep them roped off. They also have cameras on all the nest 24 hours a day. Last year people had taken all the eggs from the nest.

Sometimes people are just heartless and stupid. How can someone take the eggs from the nest! I am glad this little ones are ok and with their mum. Wonderful family capture, Kay! #10720850Kay E. Mahoney June 11, 2013

Beautiful capture Kay of the mother Swan and her babies. It's so hard to believe that there are individuals out there that would steal the eggs from their nest, glad to hear that there are so many this year, keep us posted on their progress. #10740279Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
