Description

***
The reason there are diagonal lines in the sky is because I shot this through our bathtub's window screen. I believe this is an Oriole (until someone says otherwise), sitting on our tv antenna.
(Not really for contest. Just one of those quirky captures we all have once in awhile.)

Know what you mean about the quirky captures we all have,Mary, but you did a super job despite the conditions. WTG,indeed.
Now for the big question- what were you doing with your camera in the bathtub? Just kidding, my friend. Just trying to be funny- hehe.

Thanks for your comments, Tiia, Tammy, Gord, Bobby, Rony, and Patrick. I appreciate them!
And, Patrick: I was watching our cat drinking from the tub faucet, when I heard a particularly loud birdsong. I looked up, and saw this guy warbling for all he was worth. I grabbed my camera, and got this first shot.
Since then, whenever I hear him, I do my best to balance the camera upwards from the windowsill, hoping for a clear shot. Here's one from another day... :) #10695515
