You know I love frog shots and this is a good one. Great clarity and color. I like seeing his body under the water.

If you were to get another chance at him and it is possible a bit lower POV and a little more to the left to emphasize those beautiful eyes would be worth a try. #1527404

Funny, I saw this shot and thought of Mike!

I agree with his suggestions. #10686300

Debbra Bailey May 08, 2013

I thought this WAS Mike's until I read the name :) Nice shot Rita - agree with getting a lower POV. #10686524

Excellent image Rita. And I must agree that you need to get your waders on, and jump on in to get that low POV. :) #10686550

thanks everyone, this was at a park I go about 4 times a year. he was out about 5 feet and of course looking out into the pond. but you can trust me I will be looking for him when I go again...thanks for the compliment everyone, because when I first took it and then looked at the shot I thought how did Mike's picture get on my computer....LOL

I really like being able to see his body also Mike #10686626

Nice capture Rita. I haven't had much success photographing them, they disappear as soon as I come upon them. Not an easy subject to photograph #10686985

thanks Art I was pleased he didn't move on me. #10687006

Rita this is awesome! I love frogs but they always disappear before I can see them, I hear them but that is all. #10688753

thanks Beth I can remember when I was a little girl I was the only one that would pick them up. #10688834

I think it can be said that we all love this image, Rita. Very, very nicely done.
Just be a little cautious with Dale's suggestion about "jump on in to get the low POV". My less-innocent mind suspects that his suggestion for next month's challenge might just be along the lines of 'Embarrassing moments".
You have been warned girl! #10690693

Elaine Hessler May 14, 2013

Sorry this is late! I love how the three pieces of algae are placed perfectly around this frog-it highlights the lower portion of his mouth. Which sets off those sharp eyes perfectly! #10694044

thank you Pete and Elaine

thanks for the warning!!! #10694203
