Beautiful, Lisa. But be aware that Old Dale is going to tell you that the horizon is tilted to the right by 0.75 degrees. I am just glad I got in first so that you can prepare for it! #1523926Elaine Hessler April 14, 2013
Funny Peter-I was going to mention that too:) And the horizon seems a little distorted-was that a wide angle lens you used?Other than that picky stuff-here's what I love about this. The rays are amazing and I like the glow of the water and how you can see the little waves on it. The clouds are really neat too, as the sun rays are peeking through. Where was this taken?
Very pretty! #10653416

I like the transition from dark to light than dark, nice capture of the tonality of the sun rays. The slight offset of the horizon does not bother me at all. Nice composition #10653431Dale Hardin April 14, 2013
Agree with Art. The tonality is excellent and I love how the mountains show through creating a space for the eye to search.LOL! Peter knows me well and beat me to the gun on the horizon. Art, just in case you didn't know, I'm kind of goofy about things that are tilted. It's a running joke in the club. #10653705

Yeah, we'll go with that, Dale. Only goofy about things tilted. . .I think the mountains in the background are the icing on the cake for me on this one, Lisa. Nice work! (good to have you back, too) #10653748

Lisa I really like this, the colors and tones are beautiful. I always call those kind of light rays "God Rays".Kristin Duff April 14, 2013
As well the beautiful capture of rays, my very first thought was oh oh Dale going to have fun with that! Kinda glad Peter beat him to the punch! All that aside Lisa, this is one of those photos that inspires beautiful sayings written across the water that inspire us all to be better human beings. Things to inspire and to aspire to. A little touch of heaven on earth. I have been having a tough go of it lately and this photo was exactly what my heart needed. Thank you! #10654022Michael Kelly April 14, 2013
