Duotone After

Uploaded: March 12, 2013

Description

I converted to B&W in Nik Silver Efex Pro as I wanted to add in some grain to my conversion. I then played around with the colors in an attempt to add a sense of drama to the image. I ended up using blue and dark yellow for the duotone.

Exif: F Number: 8, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/100 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 800, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 100.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS-1D Mark IV

love the drama, mystery.
Great photo. I have never used Nik software. This is a great recommendation. #1521133

Thanks Lois! I use a lot of photoshop but Nik Silver Efex Pro is my favorite B&W converter. I did use Photoshop to get the toning for the image.
I love Nik Silver Efex Pro, Nik Color Efex Pro and Nik HDR Pro. I use all three of them quite a bit. They are wonderful shortcuts to Photoshop. #10633687

Thanks so much Mike! I made this image for a Photoshop class at Betterphoto. I probably should have come up with a better name for the photo..... #10675119
