After the mild snowfall (vs the insane BLIZZARD north of here), the plow arrived a little after dawn. I was already outside and had finished clearing the walkways.

NOW I had my camera and re-discovered how PRETTY the driveway winding up our hillside could look. That's another view of the new shed.

@Mel: So TREES can fall on it?

It's not far from the house. If you were standing at the shed's door, the house would be directly in front of you...perhaps 30 feet. From this vantage point, the house is to the left of the shed, though the steepest part of the driveway must be traversed. It's good for the calf muscles. (No..not the CALF'S muscles...) #10563046

Beautiful winter scene, eith a lovely s bend leading the viewer through the image. I had a long complicated lane till we moved, cost me a lot of money, time, fuel, and back problems. New lane was sure tough to clean out Sat. morning, but nothing compared to my old one would have been. #10563074

A very photogenic capture here, Michelle!! I love the monochromatic appearance the snowfall has given, yet the colour in the shed provides a hint of selective colour. A beautiful image that cools us from our hot summer by just looking at it!!

Dear Photo Friend: I feel that something has changed at Better Photo but cannot tell you just what has happened. I have been here since 2003 and most every month I have written to all the winners telling them how their work touches me. I have witnessed photographs that bring tears to my eyes and colors that are unbelievable, now I am worried that like all good things that it will not be here the next time I look.
But the feeling of not being able to congratulate all the winners for the hard work, and sharing their talent with all of us makes me so sad.
However it turns out and even if this is the last time I have this privilege, to let you know how exceptional your work has been, please know that I will never forget.
