Beaver Creek Trail Description: 2/10/13, landscape. From past fall- This trail was a bit scary because we couldn't see into the forest on either side of the narrow path through the tall lodgepole pines. The bushes are late season huckleberries, and the bears were in what the Forest Service calls the "hyperphagia" stage. In other words, they eat anything and everything before the winter hibernation. We carry plenty protection though. Uploaded on 2/10/2013 6:26:23 PM
