I did see the background change but this exposure on the bear is not good. :( It even looks unfocused but it really is focused! The unchanging focus was proven sharp in the sync speed photo. The last exposure (sync speed) was the only photo that did have a good bear exposure. I also tried this again with the same settings as this photo here but I bounced the flash on the wall, that was the only other occasion I got a good bear exposure.
Also, how come the camera didn't do a pre-flash for when I was setting the camera settings? Description

1st photo in increment series.
I didn't think you'd be happy if I uploaded all 12 photo but I'm very confused on this. The bear did not have a proper exposure even though I set the camera settings to the "correct exposure according to the camera."
I did see the background change but this exposure on the bear is not good. :( It even looks unfocused but it really is focused! The unchanging focus was proven sharp in the sync speed photo. The last exposure (sync speed) was the only photo that did have a good bear exposure.
