Philadelphia ICONS

Uploaded: January 21, 2013

Description

----
Shot this while driving to North Philadelphia to photograph an MLK Service Day for the Red Cross. To shoot this, I was driving North on Girard Street.
----
The photo really has THREE Philadelphia icons in it: The Frankford Elevated Railway, the trolley and the tracks and electrical wires that are STILL in use are obvious. There's also a car doing something illegal!!! The crazies were out in numbers today!

I'm always sorry not to have visited your gallery for a bit because I so enjoy seeing where you've gotten yourself to take shots. I'm never disappointed, though, when I finally get to look. I am taken with your angle here, with all the activity, and with your processing technique. Very nice. #10538177
