Description: This flower got its name because of its reputation of repelling fleas. It is one of the few american weeds to be naturalized in Europe becasue sheep prefer it and will eat it before eating the grass in pastures. The source of information is: "Wildflowers Of Iowa Woodlands" second edition by Sylvan T. Runkel and Alvin F. Bull.
