Sunrise at the Lighthouse

Canon 24-105L,32mm, f/16, (1/13, 0.3, 1.3) sec, ISO 100
This panoramic image was created from 3 HDR images, each processed from 3 images captured 2 stops apart (9 images total). After some initial work in Lightroom 4, each HDR image was processed with HDR Efex Pro 2. The 3 HDR images were then sent from Lightroom into CS5 and merged using Photomerge. The panoramic image was then taken back into Lightroom 4 for additional editing.

Thank you, Gary. Thank you, Art. I captured these back in September, but never took the time to process them until yesterday because I was uncertain how well they would blend. The result surprised me. #10518416Carla Capra Anderson January 16, 2013

Paul, this is impressive work, and another beautiful image. #10519018Paul R. Nelson January 16, 2013
Thank you, Carla, Beth and Bonnie. I've worked on my HDR techniques for a while now (and yes, Beth it is fun to experiment with, and a variety of results are possible), trying to get a natural looking image, but this is one of my first as a panorama. The capabilities of today's programs are amazing. #10519027Paul R. Nelson January 16, 2013
