One of my favorite reptiles to photograph! Very approachable species, that can make for great shots!

What a Beauty of a catch of this Handsome Turtle.

Couple of years back I happened to go to the trout hatchery in Dec, when there was Ice on the waters surface. In the turtle pond you could see several of these AMAZING fellows moving around under the Ice.
I NEVER BELIEVED the Stories about that behavior . Having seen it for my self I have to say it was a very
SURPRISING EXPERIENCE ...
