In Philadelphia, New Year's Day MEANS: The MUMMERS' PARADE!!!!

And AFTER the parade (in the frigid streets), there's the Mummers' FANCY BRIGADE competition inSIDE the Convention Center. This is the second year that I have been privileged to shoot the "Fancies" with Bill. It's three hours of colorful, musical extravaganza to delight your eyes, your ears, and your IMAGINATIONS!

Fancy Brigade sets and costumes are VERY elaborate, with each costume costing upwards of a thousand dollars.
