The Last Color of Life

Uploaded: January 02, 2013

Description

A funeral procession on a foggy afternoon in the country-side in Punjab, Pakistan. Shot this from the motorway.

Traditionally, the body of the deceased is put in a legless wooden bed. Flowers are then put on top of the body which is covered in white cloth. The body is then carried on shoulders of the near and dear ones of the deceased to the nearby cemetery. Neighbors and relatives then walk behind the body towards its final resting place.

Exif: F Number: 3.5, ExposureTime: 100/40000 seconds, ISO: 200, FocalLength: 35.00 mm, Model: NIKON D40
