Very special shot. The drab background has just enough detail to give environmental context to the spoonbill without detracting from the bird, itself. The surrounding drabness also provides the perfect subdued, yet distinct contrast to really show off the bird. I can't imagine more perfect timing for capturing the singular grace and beauty of the bird. #10472358Bill Foxworthy December 20, 2012
