This scene across the Kansas plains,
taken in the early part of November,
reminded me of what it must have
been like during the Dust Bowl Days
in this area. Having gone 60+ days
with no measurable moisture, I'm
wondering if this is where things are headed.
Blowing dirt almost made the old barn impossible to see.
Interestingly enough, I was able to catch just one of the many blowing
tumbleweeds before it got caught up in the fence row.
