No Cranes....Only Wind

Description

Bosque Del Apache, New Mexico. On the one day we were completely rained out in Albuquerque we headed south to Bosque Del Apache on the outside chance that we would see the beautiful Sandhill Cranes that winter here.....We were told there were about 100 that had already arrived but I guessed they were really shy about having their photo taken...didn't see one :( that means there is another trip to Bosque in the future! Have a great day everyone....

Well, you got to see and capture some beautiful scenery, anyway, Patricia! I was there a month later and there were literally thousands of cranes so it is just about the timing. And you will be awestruck when you go in November! You could just close your eyes and hear them and it would be enough!! Nice capture of the land they live on in the winter. #10463436

Thank you Thomas.....this is what makes photography fun...the anticipation of what might be...then finding something different....then having the that moment captured "forever" in the camera as fond memory. Just being out of doors exploring is so much fun....Have a glorious day today! #10463882
