Seagull Salad

Description

A stretch of beach covered with kelp and seaweed that had been pulverized by rough seas. Light from the setting sun made pieces of kelp leaves glow in a soft burnt-orange. The seagulls seemed to be finding food in the piles…. running in and out and in and out with the waves… as was I.

Quote of the Day : “He spoke of very simple things- that it is right for a gull to fly, that freedom is the very nature of his being, that whatever stands against that freedom must be set aside, be it ritual or superstition or limitation in any form.” ~Richard Bach, Jonathan Livingston Seagull
