Evening Glow Cowboy

Description

Evening Glow is another amazing event at Albuquerque. A pitch dark field, you're wandering around in the dark with thousands of people. The announcer does a count down then all at one all the balloons GLOW. In between the "field glow" (my terminology) the individual balloons are lighting up around the field...like colorful stars captured on the ground! This was taken on our last night 10/13. Oh yes, hand held, ISO 3200.

Thank you so much Bobby, Colette and Tammy....this was also dear to me since I'm currently living in Arizona...love the Saguaro in the balloon even though it's covered a bit by the one in the foreground and little doggie following the cowboy. There was all kinds of food there Tammy....hot dogs, elk burgers, lemonade and yes they did have popcorn vendors (LOL)...... #10437754

Patricia, I wish I had the time to comment on all your photos of the de-LIGHT-ful "Evening Glow" event. I really like this well-captured cowboy silhouette.
I'm sorry if this event has been happening for decades. I might have seen it while visiting my brother. Such is Life!

We probably won't go back that soon as there are so many other places to see....more parks to visit for me....I love the out of doors....mountains...deserts....ocean...well just about any place that is outside..have a glorious day.... #10451968
