One day while it was raining, I noticed all of these Evening Grosbeaks sitting on the fence, waiting to get at the sunflower seeds. They looked so wet and forlorn. I attempted to photograph some of them through my window and this one seemed to be looking right at me with a side profile so I decided that I would use him in a composite image in the future.
A view of Maple Leaves in the rain, through a window. A very wet Evening Grosbeak sits outside on the windowsill, looking in. To me he seemed to be saying Do You Have A Spare Umbrella.
Original image of maple leaves with raindrops taken in my back yard in Shady Cove, Oregon. More rain added in Photoshop CS5. Several Layers of texture added and Evening Grosbeak added as a composite layer.
