Got an Umbrella??
Uploaded: November 14, 2012 | Entered: April 01, 2016 15:27:54
Taken thru an upstairs window, I thought I was pretty clever attaching a window bird feeder to it hoping to foil the squirrels. Two stories up, with a group of people watching him from the inside, he shamelessly raided the birdseed - in the rain, to boot. Nothing slows them down.... :)

Val, this is wonderful; he just thought that you were providing him with a "restaurant" with a better view!! :) Love the photo, you've totally captured the personality of this little imp!! #10418640Reynaldo D. Reyes November 14, 2012
Oh uh! LOL! Love the expression, you've caught him red-handed and sure knows you can't get to him through the window glass, so he's posing for you. You'll have to excuse the rascal who's trying to add-up to his rainy day stash. Great shot Val! #10418708Carol L. Fowler November 14, 2012
He probably wants to come in where the REAL stash is!! We had one walking the telephone wire to the roof then launching himself at the feeder. It was hilarious because he was always a bit short, but he was not deterred and we often saw him flying past the window! #10418740Rony Sagy November 14, 2012
What an amazing capture, Val. Your window must be so clean, allowing the tiny details to come through. Excellent catch. #10418776Carol Flisak November 14, 2012

You've just gotta love this! I think these li'l critters are as shrewd as any on the planet and the ones here in the Lone Star State are certainly amongst the most cunning of them all. They have teased and tormented my dogs for years and trick them every time! Except for one female German Shepherd, Zelda, who would not tolerate them, or even a butterfly or bee, on her property and killed several. This is a brilliant capture and presentation, Val! #10523460Summer A. Kozisek January 22, 2013
They are unstoppable, but so adorable. I love this capture!! #10527157Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
