Description

----
Another shot from the PDN PhotoPlus Expo that was held in NYC just before Superstorm Sandy wreaked her wrath on us.
----
The little girl in her (photographer) dad's arms is clearly a budding artist, and she has her own Expo registration (see the lanyard around her neck) to prove it! Here she is shown checking out a new camera. The vendor is on veritable pins and needles awaiting her endorsement.
----
I used Nik Silver Efex Pro 2 to convert to black and white and then, I THINK I used a TOPAZ Adjust 5 filter to achieve the look of a faded painting.

Exif: F Number: 2.8, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/100 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 640, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 28.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 7D

The step before: NIK Silver Efex Pro 2.
----
Bill's hand is imploring me NOT TO MISS this shot!
----
I was surprised to learn that NIK had been acquired by GOOGLE! What an odd acquisition, I thought.
