These beauties were giving rides all day at the Catalina Festival. Sure was a successful day, lots of people & lots to look at. Lens aperture f/13, shutter speed 1/640 sec, focal length 36 mm, ISO 800.

I didn't know camels were interested in catalina's Chris! I am reall put out that I couldn't make it up there on Saturday, I have my fingers crossed for next years show! This is a pretty smart family of camels you have captured here, well done! #10403796

The whole idea of camels in Australia (even for a festival) strikes me as funny, Chris. Cool capture of the group with open water behind them ~ so different from sand and pyramids. #10406386

Unusual alright but we actually have lots of feral camels over here & they are multiplying all the time. They were very popular at the festival. #10406391

I'm with Mary, Chris. I never think of camels in relation to Australia. And I've never seen a doubble saddle on a camel before either. I have been camel riding a few times and it IS a lot of fun. They're such sweet animal and this is a very unusual and wonderful image. #10409210
