End of an Era

Description

Many generations lived in this old stone house and now it is beginning to crumble. It will be a distant memory in a few short years.
Because this home belongs to some friends, I had the privilege of visiting it when it was in better shape.

Love it, Heather. Tones textures, colors, lighting, clarity & scene are all to be admired. Hope it just does not become a memory. Good luck!

So many wonderful elements here Heather from textures, colors, shadows and lighting.
Sad to see it crumble, looked like it would have been beautiful at one time. #10401875

It's still got a lot of character, but I imagine it would be quite time-consuming and expensive to renovate it. Well done, Heather! #10401975

It is always sad to see beauties like this go to the wayside. The colors, the textures, all that stonework and design. This is the kind of place that makes you feel right at home, reminds one of a more simpler life. I know your friends hate to leave it to. Gorgeous look my friend. #10402058
