Description

We've watched the chickadees use this nest for the past couple of years. This year, after all the babies flew out of the nest, I saw the nest abandoned, and one little egg that had been left behind.

I was going to say, I hope not, abandoned, that is. But clearly it is. What a pretty little egg it is too. Isn't the structure of that nest simply amazing? I doubt we could build such an intricate thing using both hands, much less just a beak. #1495437
