Description

Four sisters I photographed at the Strathearn Historical Park and Museum in Simi Valley, California. I applied an old photo preset from Nik Color Efex that gives the appearance of hand-tinting. The vignetting was also from Nik and the lighting was natural light coming in thorugh a window to their right. The home they are in, the Colony House, was built circa 1888, and used well into the 20th century. During the shoot, I asked one of them to look like she was bored! They were all trying to keep from laughing because the sister in the red dress doing the reading, was using a British accent. None of the other three sisters had ever heard her do that before.
