Frosted Grass

Uploaded: October 17, 2012 19:40:02

Description

A tuft of hardy grass sits in a bed of scoria rock at the top of a butte
and is exposed to all kinds of weather. The frosted tuft holds on and makes a stark image against an overcast sky.

Adjusted in PSE7.

Photographed in Theodore Roosevelt National Park, South Unit, Medora, North Dakota on 3-8-2009 at 10:53 a.m.
