Upper Palouse Falls

Uploaded: October 08, 2012

Description

Palouse River which flows into the larger Snake River in Eastern Washington State. If you look real closely you'll see two bathers in one of the pools lett side of photo. This day I would have welcomed that pool it was 100 degrees...not too uncommon for Eastern Washington in the summer.

You can hike down to these falls....as did the two bathers, I did not have enough water (you would think I'd know better living & hiking in AZ) and got a little queezy so had to go back to the truck before getting too ill. I'd like to go back to this entire area for more hiking and photography...perhaps earlier in the season when the falls are "really" happening.... #10370285
