Chihuly Garden - II

Description

Chihuly Garden, Seattle, WA September 2012.

The play between plant material and sculpture is showcased in this beautiful display where the dark grass at the base intensifies the yellows and greens of this massive sculpture.

The gardener that I am, I calculated that the 'mound' of black mondo grass at the base of the sculpture was likely worth at least $10,000.

So beautiful, Marilyn. Fantastic colors, comp. and details. That grass is very pricey. LOL. #1490133

Indeed, a beauty, Brava Marilyn!
You got the installation in the spirit it deserves.
