Gifts From The Sea
Description: It's late afternoon at the Southern Oregon Coast. The seagulls are silhouetted against the sky and the light is slanting across the sea and sand. The call of distant birds is in the air. A wonderful atmosphere to be had with this scene, soothing sounds of waves and birds, all conducive to putting the mind at ease.
Original background image taken at the Southern Oregon Coast. Driftwood and sea shells added as composite images by using layers in Photoshop CS5. Several textures used from Distressed Textures along with my own textures to get the effect of late afternoon. The bird silhouettes were a part of the original image. Birds in the sky were added with a bird brush from Distressed Textures.
