Hi LeAnn: Dylan is a twin grandson who has been racing Go Karts since he was 8 years old. He has won four Grand Nationals and traveled all over the country. I was so honored to be able to travel all over the U.S. with his brother, mom and dad. Watching him was a thrill and then he won the right to go to France and compete. Well I got to go to France and watch him race, he did not win, but left his mark and if he ever gets to go again, he will be aware of the difference in cars and tires. I am so proud of him, but this picture almost broke my heart. He had three days to practice and on the first day it rained and he had a new car and did not want to take the chance of wrecking it. The tires in this country are rock hard and theirs were soft, instead of the brake pedal, it was a hand grip, we took our crew chief and they would not let us use him, they supplied a crew chief and he did not speak English. But in no time Dylan learned to communicate with him. As you can tell, I am very proud of all my grandchildren. I also have two granddaughters that worked their way through collage by swimming and one got a Gold Medal in South Korea at the World Games. But enough of that thanks for a comment that went straight to my heart. Dylan is now 19 and working in his father’s business.
