Thanks Sheryl, I sent you a more detailed email but essentially I started in PS, converted to a line drawing and watercolor painted the color back using various water color brushes. Then I took it into Corel Painter to add my own strokes and colors. I also added a texture once I was happy with the cowboy and then took the whole image back into Corel one more time. Lots of work on this one and lots of variations along the way.
