Sitting Pretty
Description: We had hoped to see our first puffin at Látrabjarg on day 4 of the trip; instead, it was not until day 8, near Vik, visiting cliffs at Dyrhólaey.
There, hundreds of puffins dotted the cliffs, and you could easily get within 10 feet of some of them. They're quite charming to watch!
The weather was the worst we had (chilly, windy, rainy all day) and watching the puffins fly into and land in the strong winds was somewhat comical.
