I am back from vacation and had a wonderful time!!! I am trying to get caught up on everything. I haven't gotten to vacation pictures but am trying to get some done, but just thought I would post this one. I did it the day I did the other web!!! #1487129

Nicely done. Did you apply any sharpening? A high-pass filter might make the water beads sparkle a little.

I like the little extra element of green bug caught in the web. But I found myself looking for a better place for it. Anyone else get that impression? #10328599

A great abstract image Beth and my favorite color! Love that you filled the frame with it. It has my eyes going wild bouncing back and forth, but that is a good thing...captivating! I agree a high pass filter will give it even more of an impact. :~) Look forward to seeing what you do with the bug. #10329237

Oh I like this one. I love the purple color. One of these days I want to get a web with water drops shot! :)

Love it, Beth -- very nice and sharp and I think a high pass would really set this off. Let us see what you do with the bug. I really don't think you need it; the web itself and the color takes over anyhow. #10329633

Thanks, I had not even noticed the green bug and had looked at this many times. I did two edits, I moved him in one and removed him in the other. I thought I had already applied a high pass filter but did it again. There is something that can be done with a gradient but don't remember how, I think Dale might know that answer.
I got the purple background by using my jacket after focusing the web and shot with a remote. Purple for all of us that like it! #10329726
