Description: A beautiful Japanese bonsai tree I photographed at a recent exhibit in Los Angeles. This tree has been shaped by Mr. Tak Shimazu of the Nanpu-kai Bonsai Society.FYI ... I was told by the president of the society that when photographing a bonsai, one needs to photograph it from a low angle so as not to show the top of the back side of the pot. Canon 24-105 at 47, F11, 0.8 seconds on tripod; in camera HDR and added texture from French Kiss
