Owl Not so Camoflaged

Uploaded: August 17, 2012

Description

This little owl kept hiding being this pipe and popping out to look at me. This just kept happening over and over. I wonder what was going through its little mind at the time.

I photograph activity in this burrow from across the road from the pasture that the burrow is in from my car window so that I provide as little disturbance as possible.

These owls are very used to cars as this pasture is on a pretty busy side street on the outskirts of an urban area.
