Capitol

Description

A wide-angle view of the US Capitol dome from the Rotunda. The dome is made from about 9 million pounds of cast iron, with an interior
height of 180 feet. I liked how the circles become ellipses from an off-center viewing angle; it suggests a giant eye to me.
3-bracket handheld HDR.

Exif: F Number: 6.3, Exposure Bias Value: 1.33, ExposureTime: 1/50 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 1000, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 10.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 7D

Wow! It does look like a giant eye Chris. Terrific capture. Is this where the eye at the top of the pyramid on the dollar came from :-)? #10274163
