My first encounter with Vic was at the OFA Headquarters (Was: Obama for America...Now: Organizing for America) in Northwest Philadelphia about two weeks ago. I shot her photo that day as she worked to keep things in order on the day that actress Nia Long visited their office. She also kept me supplied with butter mints!

Yesterday, in the College gymnasium where the Michelle Obama rally was held, Vic was working the floor! She called out to me and waved at the end of the event, and I shot her photo three more times.

The event was difficult for me without ear plugs (for a FEW reasons--cheering was deafening, for one...) but there are always nice people like Vic who do a GREAT job, no matter what we think--and THAT makes for a happy day!
