Description

A grasshopper is not my favourite insect but he was a fascinating subject to photograph. You have to catch this guy between hops.

I've never seen a hopper in these colors, Heather. Around my yard they are green or grey. The combination of his color and the red is striking, and the clarity and details are excellent. #10271242
