Shooting SHOOTERS

Description

Yes thats one of the Mormon Barns off of Antelope Flats Road East of the Tetons. This was the second day I forced my brother out WAY BEFORE DAWN to get there . We were still beaten to the location by several others. They were doing a controlled burn in the area so the air was not a crystal clear as normal
I chose to shoot the Barn from the Left of their location JUST BECAUSE. Temp was just about freezing at this point of the morning last 9/26

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND

Exif: F Number: 3.5, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/30 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 2000, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 18.00 mm, Model: NIKON D90

Beautiful capture. You have to love these barns at the Tetons no matter how much you see them. Our friends were at the Tetons and said they couldn't find. them. Someone didn't do their homework. LOL. #10260924

Excellent capture of all the other shooters, Jack, waiting for that one perfect capture of the barn, hands/gloves frozen to their cameras...

Meanwhile, your brother's in the car, tossing back shooters, and you're wondering what you can possibly do to make up for his miserable morning...

Still, you did get a great photo ~ beautiful colors and sense of depth.

I love the story behind the picture and I can see why this place is a photographers dream shot. I personally love old buildings like this. You got yourself a big bonus with all the photographers out on a nippy morning wanting to get their shot in. A treat to see all these folks sharing a passion. As far as clarity, your colors are rich, your sharpness on the spot. Great and beautiful work my friend. #10261439

Way too early and cold for me...great shot, I probably would have taken some 'just because' shots myself...or cried 'wolf' to scare those people away.

No lens and no update... #10261945

Now that's what I call dedication! ... Getting up so early and standing in the cold! ... but I'm sure I would do it too if I knew I would get a shot like this! That barn looks fabulous with the blue sky and mountains in the background! Love how you included the other photographers in the image! Excellent capture, Jack! Wonderful title and description as well! :) #10267525

No wonder it is photographed so often. I would go early but jockeying for best POV might not be so much fun. #10272307
